The Gold Circle Awards celebrates the valuable partnerships that schools and volunteer programs have with local businesses. By receiving volunteer and other resource support from organizations in their community, schools are able to balance resources to provide their students with the best educational experience possible.

In recognition of the achievements during the 2008-2009 school year, 37 New Hampshire schools and 224 partnerships were recognized at the 21st Annual Gold Circle Achievement Awards on September 29th, in Manchester

This year, we were pleased to have as our keynote speaker, Elaine Millen from Granite State College who will discuss ways to engage the Millennial generation.

Ms. Millen has over thirty years experience in education as a teacher, principal, director of special education, curriculum director, and assistant superintendent of schools. She has taught at both the undergraduate and graduate level at both the College for Life Long Learning , now Granite State College, where she is now Associate Dean at the Conway campus.
